Discussion on FY26 Solid Waste Charges

Council met on May 14th with DEP to discuss FY26 Solid Waste Service Charges and proposed capital investments related to the MRBT (Material Recycling and Biological Treatment) project. Staff report is available on Montgomery County Council website and the video of the session in YouTube. 

Council decided to approve FY26 Solid Waste Service Charges that do not include the capital investments related to the MRBT (Material Recycling and Biological Treatment) project (see #3 option on page 3 of the staff report).
